Frequently Asked Questions

Got a question? Here are some of the things people ask me most often, but if yours isn’t here, just get in touch.

Every session starts with a quick check-in — how you’re feeling, any niggles, and what you want to focus on. From there, I’ll take you through a warm-up and a programme I’ve designed specifically for you, whether that’s strength, cardio, mobility, or a mix. Sessions build progressively so you’re always moving forward at the right pace for your body and your goals.

No — I bring everything we need. You just need to show up. If you do have your own kit and want to use it, that’s absolutely fine too.

Wherever suits you best. Sessions can take place at your home, a local park, or any accessible outdoor space. Being Hove based, I can’t think of a better gym than the seafront — but it’s entirely your call.

Then this is a great place to start. There’s no expectation, no comparison, and no pressure. We’ll build from wherever you are right now, and at a pace that feels manageable and motivating — not overwhelming. Beginners are very welcome.

That depends entirely on your goals, your schedule, and your life. Training twice a week is a great starting point for most people, but even once a week can make a real difference when it’s consistent. We’ll figure out a realistic plan together.

Please do mention any injuries, medical history, or health conditions before we start. I’ll always work with you to adapt sessions appropriately, and I may ask you to get clearance from your GP for certain conditions. Your safety comes first.

Just get in touch via the contact page and we’ll arrange a free initial chat to make sure we’re the right fit. For cancellations, I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice where possible — life happens, and I’ll always try to be flexible.

Still got a question?

I’m always happy to chat. Drop me a message and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
